Nice thread! By far the best thing I've ever come across is Body Glide, like Clutch mentioned. It works everywhere and lasts for quite a while. You don't have to reapply it very often.

And may I suggest A&D Ointment. It's a baby butt ointment but has vitamins A and D so actually helps heal the skin. It's petroleum based like vasoline so stays for a while. I would suggest powder as I am a big powder user in the winter (all those layers for dog mushing) but if you get sweaty at all, powder is not your friend.

corn starch...I found the ointments don't work in a pinch. From experience I recommend labeling the box with something like "For Personal Use Only" or "For Medicinal Use" and leave it in the batroom.
