There's an AAC meeting tonight at 6:30 at the BP Energy Center in Anchorage. Ryan Hokanson will show slides of the Arrigetch Peaks.

The AAC Alaska Section will host a slideshow at the BP Energy Center tomorrow, October 13, at 6:30 p.m. Harry Hunt will present slides from his climbs of The Mooses Tooth, as well as several mountains in Canada (Edith Cavell, Assinboine, Athabaska). The meeting is free and open to the public.

The Alaska Section of the AAC will host a slideshow by Dave Hart at 6:30 p.m. on November 10 at the BP Energy Center in Anchorage. Dave's presentation will reportedly feature several climbs in the Saint Elias and Wrangell Mountains.

The next meeting of the Alaska Section of the American Alpine Club will be on Tuesday, December 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the BP Energy Center in Anchorage. Zach Shlosar will present slides of his climb of Bear's Tooth as well as climbs in Patagonia.

The Alaska Section of the American Alpine Club will also host a fundraising event for the Snowbird Hut at the Bear's Tooth Theatre on November 24. The film "Powder Whores" will be shown.

For additional information, contact the Alaska Section of the American Alpine Club or Harry Hunt, the President.
